Family Pictures

Our friend Veronica took our first family pictures with our newest addition and she did such a wonderful job! Thanks again Veronica, the family LOVED the pictures we gave them for Christmas. This is my favorite picture of Krisalynn, she looks so sweet and peaceful.

Krisalynn Elizabeth

I'm sure most of you have already heard about Krisalynn's arrival, but just in case here is the info. I started having consistent contractions early in the morning on 11/22, I timed them all morning and they kept getting closer. So I called John to let him know since he had to work out in Hemet that Saturday and then called the nurse. She suggested I go in and get checked out, so off we went a little before noon. After monitoring me for a couple hours the gave me the option to go home and wait a bit or they could admit me and the doctor would break my water. So obviously we decided to stay, I was very ready to have her. They moved me to a labor room around 4pm, broke my water shortly after and Krisalynn was born at 10:37 pm. She weighed 8lbs 1oz and was 19inches. To mine and the doctors surprise she came very quickly, no more than 10 min of pushing. She came out sunny side up, facing the doctor instead of the floor, John later told me it scared him because her face was purple when she came out. But she was just fine and beautiful!

Krisalynn did have complications later. She was running a low fever, her heart rate was high, her breathing was fast and she was having blue spells when she cried. This worried her nurse and doctor so they ran lots of tests and xrays and after two and a half extra days in the hospital she was released, just in time for Thanksgiving. The nursing staff was so wonderful and did everything they could to let me stay with Krisalynn. They were such a blessing, I don't know what I would have done if I had to leave her. It ended up that she had fluid in her lungs and thankfully a couple days of antibiotics cleared it up. So we had an extra special Thanksgiving this year with plenty to be thankful for.

Baby Update

I went to the doctor today and she said everything looks good, I am progressing, not as quickly as I'd like, but things are moving. I am scheduled to be induced on the 26th at 1am if I don't go into labor on my own before. At this point I am guessing she won't come on her own, but you never know. So it's looking like our Thanksgiving will be in the hospital. My doctor said she is going to try to get me discharged on the 27th, but it depends what time the baby is born. Also how quickly the baby's doctor can get in to she her.
I asked the doctor how big she thought she would be, in fear of a 9 pounder, and she doesn't think as big as Annabelle, more like 7 1/2 maybe 8lbs. I'm curious, I can't wait.
Also she still doesn't have a definite name, it'll be one of the three, we are just going to wait until she is born.

Fall Pictures

I have been trying to get these pictures up for weeks but uploading them has not been an easy task. I finally got these pictures up and have been trying to get more uploaded but for some reason it just isn't working. So I'll try again later in another post.

John's Mom and Dad went with us to Oak Glen to take pictures. These ones turned out great! It's our flying monkey!

The Baby Formally Known As Mylee

We have decided to change the name of our little one, to what is the big question. Well I guess I should say we are probably changing her name , if we can ever agree on one. I have been contemplating it for a couple months and only brought it up to John about a month ago. And still no luck. He was suppose to agree on a name by my birthday and it's now just about over and still no name. So I decided to ask for some feed back to pass on to him. We did agree on a middle name, actually John picked it out, he wanted it for a first name but it is way to popular for me, so I agreed to it as a middle, it's Elizabeth. The names I like are...

Krisalynn Elizabeth (means follower of Christ)
Kalista Elizabeth (means most beautiful) and considering
Felicity Elizabeth (means happiness, one who is successful)

So if anyone would like to voice their opinion and help us decide, or help me talk John into it, post a comment or send an email. I'd love to hear what you think.

Dress up

So lately Annabelle has been very into dressing up. She has a princess dress I just don't have a picture of her in it yet. She likes to put on Daddy's socks and Mommy's shirts, and she just loves her sunglasses. She has at least 5 pairs but currently 2 are lost and one is at her Grandmas house so she is down to her 2 least favorite pairs. She is also very into singing and dancing right now. Anything she can find that resembles a microphone she uses it to sing into. She has even used the spout in the bath tub a couple times to sing into. I wish I could have gotten that one on video. Her dancing and singing into the water spout in the tub would have been a great one to show her when she is a teenager. In this picture John had put his hat on and she went to her toy box and found her hat and glasses and put them on just like Daddy.
She also loves her babies, stroller and baby bottles. She is gonna be such a good big sister!
I got her some play jewelry that she just loves, in fact she played with it so much we are now, like her sunglasses, missing like half of it.

Baby Mylee's Ultrasound

Last night John and Annabelle came with me to get an ultrasound. I have now had quite a few of them done and every time I am totally amazed by it! God is so awesome and we are so blessed to have another little girl. So we did pick out a name, it's Mylee Elizabeth. We compromised, Mylee was my second, maybe third choice for a first name and Elizabeth was John's first choice for a first name. So we put the two together and we think it is a beautiful name with a great meaning. So here are some pictures of Mylee, at the end I put some of Annabelle's to compare.Mylee was being quite the little stinker, she kept her hands up at her face most of the time. She also did a lot of yawning and sticking her tongue out at us.

We think Mylee looks a lot like Annabelle did in her ultrasound pictures, we can't wait to meet her and see what she looks like.

Annabelle did pretty good, she liked watching the baby on the big TV. I think she understands as much as her little brain is capable of. When we got home we put the DVD in of the ultrasound and she was very excited and sat on my lap and kept saying "baby!" She also took her play camera and lifted my shirt and put her camera on my tummy and said "baby!"

All of us can't wait to meet the newest member of our family.
