Bath Time

Annabelle just loves her baths! She likes splashing and most of all sucking the water out of her wash clothes. I tried to give her a Mohawk but her hair is so fine and she doesn't have a lot of it, so it didn't work to well. But you can kinda see it.This is a silly face, it reminds me of pictures my Mom has of Jen and I when we were babies. She was kicking and splashing here, I just thought the water looked cool in the picture. This was the first time she discovered she can take her foot out of the slot for it. She now takes it out and tries to stand up.After she gets all dried and ready for bed she gets to play with Mommy and Daddy for a little bit before bed.

On the Move

Annabelle is on the move! She is sort of crawling, she just isn't on all fours. She crawls with both hands , a knee and a foot. Last week she was just starting to do it more often. Now she does it all the time and has gotten a bit faster. I watched Her cousin Logan last week and it was the first time he had seen her since she became mobile, and I don't think he is to thrilled about it. Especially because she always wants to be right by him, which he probably wouldn't mind if she didn't attack him so much. Doesn't he look happy?!
I did manage to get some smiles out of him. He is too cute!
Here she goes again, this time to get the camera, at least Logan gets a break!
After all he needed a break to make some calls and run some numbers!
Today Lauren and Logan hung out with Belle and I, and while we were at my Grandmas Logan was playing in the corner looking at books. Belle saw him back there and took off to get him, she had to monkey her way between a chair and a couch, but she did it! And Logan was not happy she interrupted his quit reading time. He picked up the book he was looking at and made a kind of complaining grunting noise at her and left. It was to funny.
We also discovered how loud two crying babies are in a car. And they don't stop because they feed off each other! On the way home from San Bernardino today I had to pull over and have Lauren drive so I could get in the back with the kids. Logan wasn't to upset but Belle was hysterical. Now I know how my mom must have felt when we were kids and we would get rowdy in the car, especially if we had a couple cousins in the van plus us four. Oh well, it's part of being a mom.

Relaxing

Every morning when Annabelle wakes up bright and early she gets to lay in bed with me and watch her Baby Faith video (because I need a little time to wake up). She just loves this video! She lays down next to me for the first half then she wants to sit up so she can clap and sing, well it is called God Made Music, so I guess half way through she is so full of joy she just can't help her self and has to make her own music. It's to cute!
Playing with her toes while watching her video
This is when she sat up to sing and dance
Annabelle is eating more than just baby food now, as long as I put it in her mouth. She still doesn't get that she can put the food in her mouth, which puzzles me since she puts everything else in her mouth.
Annabelle checking out her new clothes from Gymboree
This picture is funny because she is looking at the tag with a concerned look on her face. (I love Gymboree clearance!)
This was on a Saturday, John watched Belle so I could take a shower. Isn't he creative!
She loved it, in case you can't tell. John pulled all over the house. When she came around the corner and saw me she started laughing, I looked at John and just shook my head, his response, "what, she likes it!"

Pretty Earings

After debating for a month and talking to just about everyone I got the reassurance that it wasn't that bad for a baby to get her ears pierced and that it wasn't even as bad as getting shots, I decided to get Belle's done. John and I took her to the mall this past Saturday to get it done. The lady that did the piercing was wonderful! Belle did cry but calmed down quickly after a pink balloon was brought out to her.
(Sorry for all the side ways pictures, still haven't figured out how to flip them. If anyone can help email me! Please! In the mean time just turn your head.)
As you can see she quickly forgot the whole ordeal and had a great day!
This is one of my favorite little outfits! It's still a bit big on her, but just about everything is.
Isn't she too cute!! The earings make her sparkle even more!!

Happy Girl

Annabelle is getting so big ! I can't believe she is 7 months already. She is learning new things every day. I took these pictures acouple weeks ago, she had just learned how to jump in her exersaucer. She was quite excited when she discovered this.

She is doing very good on her sitting up and is now moving on to bigger things. She is pulling herself up to standing, usually using me but sometimes her toy box and her music table. When she pulls herself up she squeals with delight.
She also can almost sit up from laying on her tummy she has done it once or twice, but she tries all the time , she just gets frustrated if she can't do it right away.
She still has no teeth, and no sign of them poping through anytime soon, but she is working on them. Her fingers are always in her mouth and she chews and bites everything. Her favorite thing to chomp on is mine or John's fingers.

Fun Fun Fun!!!

John bought this little floaty for Belle for when we go swimming. John blew it up right away and put her in it. She still hasn't gone swimming with it, but we do plan on taking her tomorrow.

Belle has recently discovered how much fun toys are. She will sit in front of her box sometimes for a good half hour playing with her toys.
She is looking at her daddy who more then likely just made a loud noise at her.

Going inside the box!

Eating Daddy's apple!
Playing with Daddy's cup.
It's amazing how the simplest things entertain her for so long.
